Bali Trip with Hubby 05/09/09 - 09/09/09

Yippie... Hubby bought a Bali trip for himself and me.... to celerate hsi birthday and our 3 years anniversary....

After few hours... we reached Bali - Indonesia lur... we already reserved a driver and the hotel in Kuta and Ubud. Planned our itinerary ourselves....

Day 1: Bali Sorgawi Hotel

Reach hotel still early... waiting for them to housekeeping and tidy up our room... 3rd floor ler... without lift.... all the staircase... very tired to carry our luggages up to 3rd floor...

We asked our driver to wait us for a while... coz I also need to rest after carry the luggage and waiting for our room.... After 30 mins... start our journey ~

We went Nusa Dua ... This is a nice beach in the South area of Bali Island.... There got lots of 5-stars International Hotels.... and the room rates ... extremely expensive...

The weather at Bali was very-extremely-HOT.... really need to wear cap or take umbrella... but, I won't use umbrella... hehe... therefore... i got a pink cap for myself :) suits with my Hello Kitty shirt...haha

After Nusa Dua, we went to the second place... is a beach too.... Padang-padang beach :)

I found this beach recommended by cari forums... Quite special and nice :) The beach water was extremely cold... freezing...

After that, we headed to Bluepoint and Uluwatu. Bluepoint have a very nice glass church. But we can't go inside to take photo.... no choice lur... we went to Uluwatu.. it just next to Bluepoint Church only.

Uluwatu is famous of the nice view, nice sunset and also MONKEYS... really a lot...a lot of MONKEYS... very naughty and like to steal people foods, specs, camera and something peopla taking on hand....

Next, we heading to Jimbaran to have our beach - seafood dinner..... we reached Matahari Cafe there already late... sky become darker.. lots of mosquito... 1st time having dinner in beach.... ordered some seafood, watermelon juice and a bottle of red wine too.... Conclusion.... The food still ok... but no next time... nothing special lur... Expensive too... around RM100+ per person ler...

After dinner, we went back our hotel.... so tired and back to bath and sleep very sweet that nite...

Day 2: We woke up quite early the next day.... go downstairs to have our breakfast...

After our breakfast, we take some photos around our hotels... we went to have a walk nearby our hotel... Because it's still early, some shops not open yet... we just walk around and take photos...

We walk into another hotel... i forgot the name... i think is Legian Paradise Hotel... there got a very big swimming pool and very nice to stay too... a lot of tourists stay there... but a bit expensive that our hotel....

After we finished gai gai, we back hotel and our driver fetch us to Krisna... a place for us to buy souvenirs.... very cheap price...

Next, we went to Taman Ayun.... dunno how to introduce this place.... just keep on take pictures only...

After that, we went to Pacung have our lunch ... Pacung is famous of rice terrace... the food there was nothing special.... buffet in a low price.... just sit there, having our lunch and enjoy the rice terrace view...

After lunch, we went to Strawberry Stop.... Strawberry Stop... that means go there and eat STRAWBERRY only.. There got a strawberry farm...

Next stop: Bedugul Lake Bratan.... is a lake there and a place for people visit and pray there... i think.... forgot already...

After that, we heading to Tanah Lot.... is a special place... we went there to watch sunset. Tanah Lot has a temple on the sea....when the sea water ebb, people can walk to the temple, but when the sea water tide, the temple is on the sea... people can't walk thru there....

Finished our day 2 trip... driver drop us nearby Poppies Lane... coz we r going to have dinner at Bamboo Corner... but due to Full of seats... no walk somewhere nearby the place to find something else to eat....

We walk around and found a Cafe named Dulang Kafe.... it just next to Matahari Shoppin Centre... The foods there quite nice, atmosphere also not bad...

We went Matahari to shopping after our dinner.... bought some body scrub and bali chili sos...

Day 3: Check out Bali Sorgawi Hotel after having our breakfast

Went Tegalalang - Rice terrace again... but this one also quite nice.... :) Background ichiban neh..

Next, we went to Pura Thirta Empul... somekind of temple too....

There are a long way to exit... b4 exit... u must passby the stalls.... they will keep on asked u to buy things... actually all stalls are selling the same things.... very competitive...

Beside the volcano got a nice lake.... the volcano is just near to us... can see very clear... luckily today dun have hazes... we can see the volcano and the lake very clear....

After lunch, we check in our Hotel... Nyoman Karsa Bungalows.... in Ubud.

After dinner, we went Pizza Bagus to take away our pizza back hotel for supper....

After our breakfast, we went out to gai gai.... saw an ice cream shop... then buy ice cream to eat...

We went to have Verona Spa.... yeah... full body massage... naked + 1 piece of free disposable underwear... so paiseh... but really enjoying... my room view.... a lot of ducks..... in front of sawah..








After spa, we went to have lunch at Bebek Bengkil... there are famous in Dirty Duck... wanna try it early... love the taste... but hubby not really like it... haha.... Hope can taste it second time.... i miss dirty duck...

After lunch... we just walk around and shopping....

Then went to take away our dinner.... Ibu Oka Babi Guling and pizza bagua back hotel...

Drink some Bintang beer... which is famous in Bali too

Day 5: Bye bye

Today is our last day in bali... is time to say bye bye....

we check out after breakfast and headed to Kuta.... we request our driver fetch us to Krisna again coz we still got some time to buy something... the we went to take away kuih lapis back Malaysia....
